High-performance steel strapping – also known as Megaband® or Ultra – offers significantly higher strength and optimized handling compared to conventional steel strapping. The strapping is made from a high-carbon steel or a high-manganese, low-carbon alloy, making it ideal for demanding applications with the highest safety requirements.
Our zinc-painted high-performance steel strapping with dimensions 19 x 0,8 mm is supplied in oscillated winding winding with an inner core diameter of approx. 406 mm. It offers a breaking strength of approx. 950-1030 N/mm² and an elongation of approx. 12% according to A5 (DIN 5014/DIN EN 10002-1). The rounded edges ensure safe and gentle handling of packaged goods. Delivered on pallets with approx. 600 kg. The zinc dust coated & waxed surface ensures excellent corrosion resistance, ideal for outdoor use.
