Umreifungsgeräte - Umreifungsband passend spannen und sicher verschließen
Ob Kartons zusammengefasst, Waren gebündelt oder Packstücke auf Paletten fixiert werden: Bei der Umreifung bilden Band, Gerät und Verschluss ein aufeinander abgestimmtes System. Das Umreifungsband umschließt das Packgut, wird auf die erforderliche Spannung gebracht und anschließend gesichert. Umreifungsgeräte übernehmen dabei das Spannen und – je nach Ausführung – auch das Verschließen und Abschneiden des Bandes. So unterstützen sie eine zuverlässige Verpackung für Lagerung, innerbetrieblichen Transport und Versand.
Welches Umreifungsgerät geeignet ist, richtet sich zunächst nach dem verwendeten Bandmaterial. Zur Auswahl stehen folgende Kategorien:
Geräte für Kunststoffband
Für Umreifungsbänder aus Polypropylen oder Polyester. Je nach System erfolgt der Verschluss mechanisch mit einer passenden Verschlusshülse oder durch Verschweißen der Bandenden. Akku-Kombigeräte verbinden häufig das Spannen, Reibschweißen und Abschneiden in einem Gerät.

Geräte für Verpackungsstahlband
Für Stahlband kommen speziell ausgelegte Spann- und Verschlussgeräte zum Einsatz. Abhängig von Gerät und Anwendung wird das Band mit einer Verschlusshülse oder durch einen hülsenlosen Stanzverschluss gesichert.

Geräte für Textilband
Textile Umreifungsbänder werden mit geeigneten Spanngeräten gespannt und üblicherweise über passende Verschlussklemmen gehalten. Bei diesen Systemen sichert die Klemme das Band; ein separates Verschlussgerät ist dafür in der Regel nicht erforderlich.

Akkus und Ladegeräte
Passende Energieversorgung ergänzt akkubetriebene Umreifungsgeräte. Entscheidend ist die Kompatibilität mit dem jeweiligen Gerätemodell und Akkusystem. Ein zusätzlicher Akku ermöglicht den Wechsel, während der andere lädt.
