In our stretch film range, we offer three different categories for you: machine stretch film for use on automatic stretch wrappers/pallet wrappers, hand stretch film for manual processing on hand dispensers, and finally, mini stretch film as a special version of hand stretch film. Within these three stretch film categories, individual products can be distinguished by film thickness, color, and stretchability. As a general rule, the thicker the film, the more tear-resistant it is, and the better your product is protected. The heavier your goods, the stronger the stretch film should be. Black film is recommended as an alternative to transparent standard film whenever the cargo needs to be protected from UV radiation or prying eyes. Many customers also opt for different colored films to enable quick identification of different pallets. Finally, the stretchability indicates how many meters of film you can get from one meter on the roll by pre-stretching. For example, 150% stretch means that from 1 meter of film on the roll, you will get 2.5 meters with proper pre-stretching. In other words, the higher the stretchability, the more efficient the material usage.
