Welches Akku-Umreifungsgerät passt zu meiner Anwendung?
Bei der Auswahl eines Akku-Umreifungsgerätes kommt es nicht darauf an, möglichst viel Spannkraft zu wählen. Entscheidend ist vielmehr, dass Gerät, Umreifungsband und Packgut optimal aufeinander abgestimmt sind. Vier Kriterien helfen Ihnen bei der Auswahl.
PP- oder PET-Umreifungsband?
PP-Umreifungsband wird häufig für leichtere Packstücke, Kartonagen und Anwendungen mit geringeren bis mittleren Bandspannungen eingesetzt. PET-Umreifungsband eignet sich aufgrund seiner höheren Festigkeit besonders für schwere Packgüter und Paletten.
Welche Bandabmessung wird eingesetzt?
Akku-Umreifungsgeräte sind jeweils für bestimmte Bandbreiten und Bandstärken ausgelegt. Prüfen Sie deshalb vor der Auswahl, welche Abmessungen Ihr vorhandenes PP- oder PET-Band besitzt beziehungsweise welches Band zukünftig verwendet werden soll.
Wie viel Spannkraft wird benötigt?
Die erforderliche Spannkraft hängt von Packgut, Umreifungsband und gewünschter Sicherungswirkung ab. Empfindliche Kartonagen benötigen deutlich geringere Kräfte als schwere, formstabile Paletten oder industrielle Packgüter.
Wie häufig wird umreift?
